Introduction to Making Money With PLR Products

What is a PLR product? PLR stands for private label rights. So a PLR product is one that comes with private label rights. What are private label rights? Private label rights allow you to take the source file (usually a text file or Word file) and edit it, put your name on it, and sell it as your own. You can do just about anything with PLR products. You can resell the product as a PLR product. You can change it some and sell it as your own. You can leave it as it is and sell it as your own (not recommended). You can package together several PLR products and sell them to other marketers.

Perhaps you have seen the countless PLR products available online, and you have wondered how you too can make money with them. If you have been on any of my lists for very long, you have probably seen a few of my own PLR product offerings. Perhaps you have purchased a PLR product from me.

I will tell you this: I have made money on every PLR offering I have ever done. Some more than others.

I have made money when I have simply passed the PLR product on to you. I have made money when I have gone in to the PLR product, edited it to be a better product, and put another name on it. I have made money when I have packaged several PLR products together and sold them to you so that you can offer the PLR products to your list.

The bottom line is, I have made money, and you can too.

Why do I want to share this information with you?

Because I am greedy. You see, I know that if you see how you can make money with PLR products, that you will buy some PLR products. Now, I realize that there are many PLR vendors online. You can buy your PLR products from whomever you wish.

But my hope is that by teaching you to make money on PLR products, you will buy PLR products regularly, and I hope you will buy them from me. That’s it. I simply want you to buy them from me. But if you don’t, no hard feelings!

How to Make Money on eBay the Easy Way

Learning how to make money on eBay is not rocket science and at first glance even the most rudimentary principles of making money apply. Profit equals income minus expenses. Sell something for more than what it cost you and you've satisfied the equation.

There are therefore only three things that someone who wants to learn how to make money on eBay needs to do:
1. Buy something,
2. Sell it,
3. Make sure that the purchase price is less than the sale price (including fees).

Selling the item isn't usually the problem. As with so many things that relate to making money through buying and selling, the profit is in the purchase price.

What this means for people trying to make money on eBay is that they need to develop a strategy for buying things consistently for a good price. It must be the number one problem for eBay sellers and it is unfortunate because learning how to make money on eBay is so easy.

Where can you buy things to sell on eBay?

I guess this is the number one problem for eBay sellers, really. But it shouldn't be. We all buy things every day and we know people who buy things and see people buy things. It's just something that the majority of people have experience in. And we're usually not shy about shopping around for the best price.

The problem is that in order to make money on ebay we need to be consistently buying at below 50% of retail to make a profit (for new items anyway). This is roughly the average discount that you should be able to get on eBay for something that you could otherwise buy somewhere else.

But how do you get this sort of a discount regularly?

First of all, there is no hard and fast rule that says that you have to sell new things to make money on eBay. Trying to find dropship suppliers and wholesalers is really an advanced topic that only the most serious and committed eBay sellers should employ.

The reason that eBay originally gained it's giant success wasn't because it was a great place to buy a plasma TV for a bargain basement price. eBay originally established itself as a place for people to trade collectibles and antiques and other rare items.

The good news is that this kind of product still sells like crazy on eBay, but many people who want to learn how to make fast money on eBay neglect this kind of product and just want to know how to find a dropship wholesalers for iPhones or TVs!

It really is crazy.

Antiques, collectibles and other rare items are available plentifully. There are antique stores everywhere and bookstores full of highly profitable items. Where do you think these sellers get their items?

From you and me.

I think the major problem is that we are looking too far in our quest to make money on eBay. We probably have something in the attic or garage that we could sell instantly for over $1000. I know I have. So if we have these items, then doesn't it stand to reason that other people do too?

Garage sales and weekend markets are still the best place to go to find items for next to nothing that can be used to make money on eBay. You just need to do a little homework and a little leg work (oh and probably get up early on a Saturday).

I have personally made $1000s from a couple of hours on a Saturday morning and I do it regularly.

Super Secret Tip For Using PPC Search Engine Advertising Successfully

It's not about traffic; it's about generating leads.
That's right. It only took me eight words to give you the secret super tip on using pay-per-click (PPC) search engines successfully. It's not about generating traffic to your website; it's about generating leads from the traffic for which you are paying. This slight shift in understanding about where the value resides in PPC search engines could make all the difference when it comes to capitalizing on the web promotional resource known as PPC.

How are you currently using PPC?

Most (and this is spoken from experience) PPC advertisers bid on tens of thousands of keywords and direct all of that traffic to the same page on their website. While it is a good idea to use as many keywords and key phrases as possible in your overall PPC marketing campaigns, what a prospect finds when they visit your landing page is more important.

How should you be using PPC?

If you are you only trying to “make the sale,” you could be losing the visitors who are looking for information about your products or services. By exchanging informational sales material for a prospect’s contact information, you will dramatically increase your long-term return on investment.

Research has shown that when customers are knowledgeable about the products and services they are seeking, they are more likely in the future to buy from the organization that provided them the information in the first place. If you are paying one cent per visitor and receive just five sign-ups for a newsletter, you have already covered your costs because the average value of one qualified email address is over twenty-five cents! So to answer the question of how you should be using PPC, you should use it not just to make direct sales, but to generate leads.

Putting it into practice:

There are many ways that successful web marketers get Internet surfers to provide personal information. The most preferred are 1) surveys and contests in exchange for a “freebie” and 2) newsletters and articles, which provide information about what the surfer is searching for.
To put this into practice, promote a page that equally 1) provides information about your product or service and 2) emphasizes your special offer or offering. You will see that even if they don’t directly purchase the product or service you are selling, chances increase exponentially that they will want to find out more information and sign up for your special offer thus providing you with a qualified lead.

Article Marketing - Your Marketing Power!

One of the most important marketing tools available online to promote your business cannot be purchased You can spend hours on end looking all over the internet for the best program or system to market your product or service but truth be told, the answer is right there where you are sitting. Yes! You are the answer to viral marketing.

This marketing strategy costs only your time, your commitment and discipline to produce well written articles with information people are seeking. You are an expert. Share your expertise and build a following for your knowledge while creating a market for your offerings online!

Honestly, it doesn’t matter if you are on a music or parenting site. We all browse through websites for advice and articles that will solve our life problems, explain life’s mysteries, make our lives easier, less cluttered, and show us how to be more successful in relationships and business. We stumble across articles that help us, that answer our questions.

Have you ever found an article that when you finish reading it, you have this sudden feeling of “rightness?” After experiencing a writer’s viewpoint, you understand something that baffled you. When a writer “clicks” with the reader, it is a reflex for the reader to want to know more about the author. Reader automatically searches for more writings by the author. Why? The author answered something for you!

Articles truly are the most powerful marketing tool you can use to sell yourself as a business. Power? Yes! Marketing Power.

Online articles allow you to market yourself as knowledgeable, helpful, and consistent and willing to take the time to share what you know to friends you haven’t met yet. This is power to develop relationships on-line. Through articles we can develop friendships, business contacts, customers, and online credibility. There is no need to “sell” yourself or your business within the article. Simply share your knowledge, your thoughts and ideas.

Selling occurs outside the article in the “resource box.” A great deal has been written on how to sell within the “resource box.” What exactly does this little blurb of information about the author provide the reader? The resource box allows the reader to know the author on a more personal note. Being able to identify with the author’s role as single mom or work from home dad is a powerful human connector!

You create an image of the author but want to know if the image holds, so you click to visit their website or subscribe to receive their free e-mail course, maybe even download of their latest e-book. Each of these clicks brings you closer to the author. You feel connected and will remember them.

A single encounter with an author online doesn’t usually make an immediate impact but after the second or third time you read yet another of this same author’s articles found on yet another website. You take notice. You realize this is a person to look up!

Just think about this.

Finding a great article that explains multi-level marketing, affiliate programs, baking home-made bread or how to potty train your resistance 3 year old can be a literal bright spot in your day! You open your mailbox and a friend has sent you a poem or story that had been forwarded to them. That in a nutshell is viral marketing.

Over time you will notice websites, article banks and e-zines publishing articles by these same authors that have already helped you in some way. You mentally filed their name and maybe even their website to back of your mind as a positive. You find security in reading their latest article because you feel you already know that author on some level.

So if you share great stories, articles, poems, writings with friends and customers online then you already know the power of words to influence and change lives. It can be a very overwhelming. The thought of writing for others to read can be scary. The joy comes in having someone send you an email or subscribe to your newsletter because you helped them with one of your articles. It is an important step in working from home. Developing a series of articles to help others to meet whatever challenges face them day to day…that is the goal and you will suddenly realize you are marketable.

Just as a musician has to strum their first chord before they can play in a band. The first step is the hardest but with practice you will see the power in your skills to share information others need or want. Now start writing!

Affiliate Marketing What Is It And Why Use It?

Affiliate Marketing is having Affiliates do your Marketing for you. What I mean by Affiliate is someone who tells people about your product/service and you pay them for a desired response, such as a purchase.

Affiliate Marketing is one of the best ways to get the word out about your product/service.

The best way to pay Affiliates is pay per sale. This means that you only have to pay your Affiliates when they actually make a sale. This reduces your advertising costs dramatically. your Affiliates take on all the risks so you don't have to worry about wasting your money on advertising which may not produce any results.

Using Affiliate is a very cheap way to advertise, however it is very effective. The software required to start up your own Affiliate program can cost only about $50 per month.

Then after that just wait for people to start promoting your product/service for you.

Please remember that 5% of your Affiliates will do 95% of the selling. What I mean by this is that most of your Affiliates will just sit there and do nothing. This can be countered if you teach them what to do, exactly how to do it and providing everything for them so they have to do as little work as possible.

To find out about teaching your Affiliates please see the "How To Super Charge Your Affiliates" article

You don't have to use this form of advertising just to sell your product or service. You can also use it to grow your opt-in mailing list. This is discussed in another article.

How Much Should You Pay Your Affiliates

How much you pay your Affiliates really depends on how much your product/service costs, its profit margin, how much you're willing to give up and what action you want to take place.

Lets say that your product is priced at $100. Lets also assume that it cost you $10 to make it. This leaves you with $90 profit.

How much of this do you want to give away to the person that made this sale possible?

Personally, I believe that you should give a rather high percentage of the profits back to the affiliate (Depending on how many sales they regularly generate), because without them, you wouldn't have made that particular sale at all, so reward them for it.

A fairly decent reward is about 50% of the revenue generated. Your product is priced at $100 so a $50 commission is quite generous. It really depends on your other costs (such as a mortgage) you have, which would help decide on a fair commission to both you and the Affiliate.

Another factor which plays a part is how much additional advertising you do, such as pay per click. For example, if you rely solely on your Affiliates to Market for you, then you may want to reduce the commission you pay to them to help you survive. However, you may want to pay them more, to encourage them to send more sales you way. It really is a judgment call.

On the other hand, if you advertise in other ways effectively, then you can afford to pay higher commissions, because you're not putting all your eggs in one basket.

In the end it's all down to how greedy or generous you are. The best advice I can give you is to pay the affiliate what you think he/she deserves. Hopefully that way everyone is happy and earning their fair share.

That is the key to a successful affiliate program.

CPA Marketing

There is a new craze in the internet marketing world. It is called CPA Marketing.

CPA stands for cost per action. In affiliate marketing, you need to actually sell the merchant's product in order to earn a commission. In CPA marketing, you are getting paid by the lead. All you need to do is get a customer to the sales page and get them to submit some information, and you are paid a commission. Basically you are getting paid for a lead. For some offers all you need to do is get a customer to submit their zip code and you will be paid a commission. These commissions can be as low as $0.70 and I've seen them as high as $50.00. The amount of commission normally depends on how much information you are asking the customer to submit. For the high-end commissions, normally you will need to get the customer to submit either a credit card number or a social security number.

There are several networks, called CPA Networks, which are packed with the offers that you will need to promote. Some people use free traffic to promote these web sites, some use pay-per-click and other forms of paid advertising. That aspect of CPA marketing is just like any other form of affiliate marketing.

The good thing about it is, once you find a pay-per-click campaign that is profitable, you can turn up the advertising as high as you'd like. If you are getting a 100% ROI on your campaign, there is no limit to the amount of adspend you want to do on Google.

CPA has been kept a secret for a long time but now the cat is out of the bag and everyone gets a shot at it. It's an exciting time for a lot of people, myself included.

Make Money With CPA Marketing

If you want to make some money on the internet you don't always have to find something to sell. One great way to make money is to use CPA offers.

CPA stands for "cost per action" these offers are very attractive because a customer that you are promoting to doesn't generally have to buy anything, they are only required to enter some personal information, such as a zip code or an e-mail address, and for that information you will get paid a commission.

CPA advertises will pay out anything from $0.25 to $5.00 or more for a single e-mail submit, and you can get $150 plus for someone filling out a form. The amount of commission often depends on the amount of information you are asking the customer to submit.

These CPA affiliate programs have been around for some time, but there are new programs opening up every day, so the opportunities just get better and better, this can be a great way to start out as you don't need a product to sell. This is becoming one of the most lucrative opportunities on the internet.

There are many CPA affiliate networks and they are full of offers that you can promote. An advertiser will pay the CPA network a particular amounts for every lead generated, let's say $5.00, the CPA network then pay you, the publisher $4.00 and takes a $1.00 commission. This is how the CPA networks make their money.

You can use free traffic to promote these offers or pay per click, another way is to use eBay classified ads.

If you are new to online marketing CPA offers are a great way to start earning money online.

A Review of Profit Lance

Internet marketing is proving itself to be a lucrative venture for those who are interested in it. There are many stories and testimonials circulating online about people who are earning as much as a six-figure income a month because of Internet marketing. While some of these testimonials are most decidedly just hype, there are many stories about generating big amounts of money through Internet marketing that are true enough. It is very much possible to get the big bucks out of Internet marketing.

The thing about Internet marketing is that it is not a get-rich-quick scheme. If you want to get into Internet marketing, you are required to dedicate some time and effort into the project. You will also definitely need to invest a little cash into your venture, especially on tools and learning. The more you know about Internet marketing and how it works, the more successful you would become.

One of the newest online resource centers on the subject of Internet marketing today. Despite its newness, it is quickly gaining a reputation among Internet marketers as a website with definitive guides on the various aspects of Internet marketing. People who are new to Internet marketing may find a lot of useful things in there.

The guides, tutorials and videos found in Profit Lance cover all the basic aspects of Internet marketing - finding a niche, building a website, search engine optimization, generating traffic to the website, utilizing Google Adsense and Google Adwords, writing good copy, spying on the competition and creating good landing pages. The materials that you can find in Profit Lance are all very informative and very detailed.

Aside from these guides and tutorials, Profit Lance also offers tools that can be very helpful in website building and Internet marketing, such as tools to cloak affiliate links, scripts for bookmarking, and scripts for effective click-back hop-links. Profit Lance also has links to third-party resources, links that can direct you to websites where you can find article marketing tools, HTML editors and tutorials, social bookmarkers, link directories, keyword research tools, website statistics counters, and SEO software.

It seems that all the things that Internet marketing students need to know about the field is all there in full detail within the pages of Profit Lance. It is very useful and very informative, fully geared for Internet marketing beginners. The only catch is that it is a members-only website, which means that a person has to pay a fee to be able to access the guides and the tutorials. The fee is one-time only and costs $97. The access is lifetime.

Profit Lance is a new site, and because of this, the resources they offer are not fully proven yet. The $97 fee may also be seen as too expensive for some people who cannot go all in into the learning process yet. But for those who are serious enough to go into Internet marketing, Profit Lance may be a good place to start in getting a hold of the ropes that can lead to success in making money online.

How Do You Make Money Online?

If you learn how other people make money online, I mean really study how it’s done and ask a lot of questions, there is no reason in the world you cannot make money on the internet as well.

How do people make money with websites? There are literally tens of thousands of things people make money on from the net. From hard goods of all kinds (anything that can be shipped, including cars and boats!) to information and memberships.

People make money selling insurance, car parts, reports on every imaginable topic people want to know more about, selling affiliate products, and even fundraising for charity!

That’s right! People make money helping their favorite charities raise money. By creating an in-demand product for a charity to sell to their members, and letting them keep at least 50%, you can make money as a professional fundraiser.

I know someone who makes money selling a dog biscuit and dog food cookbook! That’s right, a cookbook for dog lovers to make treats for their pets. I told you! Anything goes on the net as long as there are buyers looking for what you sell.

It’s truly mind boggling how some people make money online. You just have to be creative and understand how the net works and how people shop online. You have to know how to get into the search engines so people can find you.

And most of all you need a couple good ideas, or find other people with great ideas and sell THEIR stuff for commission! There is no excuse for failure – the world of internet marketing is your oyster!

There are tons of resource sites that can help you understand every single minute detail of making money online from setting up a website to choosing a hosting service to taking credit cards and filling orders. There’s nothing else like it in the world.

I have a site that helps people find ways to make money online. I make money with information products, and help others learn how to make money online doing the same thing.

Some people make money on Ebay auctioning things people are searching for right now all over the world. Still other people sell their time as Virtual Assistants helping busy executives and other business owners complete mundane but important tasks the business owner has no time to do.

With some referrals, over time you can be busier than you ever imagined with clients beating down your door because they heard you do great work at reasonable rates. All this without ever meeting ANY of your clients face-to-face. Working online makes working for people in other countries a snap, as long as you speak the language, it’s no different than if the person you sell to or work with lives right down the street.

Bottom line: You CAN make money online if you are the type of person who is a self-starter and motivated to work toward your goals even when the going gets tough.
